ILOILO City – Police arrested a drunken man for possession of an unlicensed firearm in Barangay Calumpang, Molo.
The 23-year-old Rojie Batiles of Barangay San Juan, Molo was caught around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
A .38-caliber revolver loaded with four live bullets was recovered from him, police said.
According to the police, Batiles wielded the gun while having a heated argument with his live-in partner’s father.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the altercation.
Batiles was taken to the Molo police station where he was detained./PN
