ILOILO City – Seven sachets of suspected shabu were recovered in an antidrug operation in Barangay San Jose, City Proper.
The suspected illegal drugs were confiscated from the 27-year-old P Jay Kilayko of Barangay Calumpang, Molo, a police report showed.
Kilayko was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P600 on Mabini Street around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, the report added.
Personnel of the Police Station 1 and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 staged the sting operation.
Kilayko was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 1.
He was facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
