BACOLOD City – She was crossing the road when an Isuzu Wagon hit her in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Resident 71-year-old Marina Bangga sustained head injuries, police said.
According to police investigators, the vehicle driven by 28-year-old Rhys Karl Aledron of Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City hit Bangga around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Bangga was brought to the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City where the attending physician declared her “dead on arrival.”/PN
