MANILA – Vice President Leni Robredo has called for transparency of 19 business deals agreed upon by Philippines and China during President Rodrigo Duterte’s visit in Beijing last week.
Robredo on Sunday said she was interested to see the terms of the recently signed agreements and the compliance and implementation of the previously-agreed deals between the two countries.
Pero kailangan lang tayong magbantay,” Robredo said.
Duterte witnessed the signing of 19 business deals, which includes energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and the training of Filipinos sojourning in China.
Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said these agreements would generate an estimated investment value of US$12.165-billion, which can generate more than 21,000 jobs for Filipinos./PN
