ILOILO City – An argument between two hotheads resulted in one stabbing the other in Barangay South Fundidor, Molo district.
As a result, 53-year-ld Mateo Montero of Barangay Sooc, Arevalo district was taken to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district for treatment.
Police identified the suspect as 53-year-old Fred Jacolo of Barangay South Fundidor.
The heated argument and subsequent stabbing happened around 6:30 p.m. on April 23. It was unclear what the two men were quarrelling about.
Montero was stabbed on his right side. It was unclear as of this writing if he would be pursuing charges against his attacker.
Jacolo turned himself in to the Molo police station right after the stabbing./PN
