PRC urged to put up service center in Aklan

KALIBO, Aklan – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) passed a resolution requesting the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to put up a service center in the province.

SP member Emmanuel Soviet Russia Dela Cruz, author of the resolution, said this service center will cater the needs of the growing number of professionals in the province.

PRC has around 20 service centers nationwide and there are only two centers installed in Western Visayas – Iloilo and Bacolod City.

Adding another service center in the region, specifically in Aklan, PRC could serve their clients adequately and promptly, said Dela Cruz.

The PRC is a three-man commission attached to the Department of Labor and Employment.

The agency regulates and supervises the practice of various professions requiring government licenses. (With a report from Aklan Provincial Government/PN)
