KALIBO, Aklan – A 14-year old girl was found dead in Barangay Pagsanghan, Banga, Aklan.
She was identified as resident Lina Natabio, a police report showed.
Lina’s body was already in the state of decomposition when a resident found her on a grassy area around 9 a.m. on May 6.
Police said she has been missing for two days and was positively identified by her parents.
Her father Rodrigo said his daughter had dreams of helping their family.
“Sa honor roll siya at laging maagang pumapasok sa eskwelahan. Noong Sabado, nakasuot siya ng bulaklakin na short,” he added.
According to police investigation, Lina told her family members she was going to a computer shop around 5 p.m. on Monday.
Scene of the Crime Operatives chief Lieutenant Colonel Ulysses Ortiz said the victim’s body was brought to the Philippine National Police crime laboratory for an autopsy examination.
Officers of the municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident. (With a report from Akean Forum/PN)
