BACOLOD City – Charged with sexual abuse, a man was arrested in Purok Bayanihan, Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 50-year-old Ludivico Ardiente of Barangay Maricalum, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Major Antonio Benitez Jr., head of the Sagay City police, said Ardiente’s arrest came after an informant tipped them about the suspect’s presence in the city.
Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental issued the arrest warrant against Ardiente on May 28.
No bail was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Ardiente was detained in the Sagay City police station, set to be transferred to the Sipalay City police station./PN
