BACOLOD City – An eight-year-old girl died of electrocution in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Lieutenant Colonel Necerato Sabando said the victim sustained burst burn on the left leg.
She was a Grade 2 pupil of the Escalante City Central School, Sabando added.
According to police investigation, 32-year-old Juvilyn Rebuyas discovered the body of her daughter lying beside a streetlight post around 7 a.m. on Sunday.
The victim was brought to the Vicente Gustilo District Hospital in Escalante City where the attending physician declared her “dead on arrival.”/PN
