ILOILO City – A group of unidentified individuals mauled and stabbed a drunken man in Barangay Veterans Village, City Proper.
Wounded, the 24-year-old John Denver Tacorda was rushed to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao, a police report showed.
Tacorda said he was sleeping on a bench near their house after a drinking binge on June 13 when seven persons beat and stabbed him.
The police have yet to identify the suspects, who fled after the incident.
Tacorda was currently recuperating./PN
