Drinking spree leads to stabbing

BACOLOD City – A drinking spree turned fatal to a laborer in Barangay Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.

The 45-year-old Danilo Marcosa died of stab wounds on the body, a police report showed.

The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Archel Mission, it added.

According to police investigators, Marcosa and Mission – both residents of Barangay Quintin Remo – were having a drinking spree around 3:45 a.m. on June 14 when an altercation ensued between them.

This prompted Mission to stab Marcosa using a bladed weapon, police said.

Officers of the Moises Padilla police station were still hunting Mission, who fled after the incident./PN
