ILOILO City – A school teacher was injured after a truck hit him in Barangay Guzman, Mandurriao.
Joselito Cahilig, 52, of Anarose Subdivision, Mandurriao, sustained head and body injuries, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, a truck driven by 20-year-old Romel Alcotin bumped into Cahilig around 2 p.m. on Friday.
The victim was brought to Iloilo Doctors Hospital for treatment.
Alcotin was detained in the Mandurriao police station’s custodial facility, facing charges./PN
