ILOILO City – They were having a drinking spree when a man stabbed his brother in Barangay Tabuc Suba, Lapaz.
The 20-year-old resident Renato Danid Jr. sustained a stab wound on the body, a police report showed.
Renato was brought to West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro for treatment.
Police identified the suspect as Renato’s brother, 23-year-old Charlie Danid.
According to the police, Renato and Charlie were having a drinking session with their relatives around 11:40 p.m. on June 26 when a heated argument ensued between them.
This prompted Charlie to stab Renato using a knife, the report added.
Police have yet to arrest Charlie who fled after the incident./PN
