BACOLOD City – In Sitio Pacao, Barangay Bantayan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, a farmer was shot to death.
Police identified the victim as 56-year-old resident Juanito Yusan.
According to police investigation, Yusan was sitting outside his house when three unidentified suspects peppered him with bullets on June 30.
Yusan sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the body, police said.
He was brought to the Kabankalan City Hospital but was later transferred to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Police have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
