F2 LOGISTICS Cargo Movers stays undefeated in the 2019 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference after a 25-22, 25-19, 25-14 sweep over Cignal HD Spikers on Tuesday night at the Cadiz City Arena in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.

Victorinara Galang led the way with 12 points, while Ilongga Abigail Marano chipped in eight markers for the Cargo Movers, which remained on top of the standings with 5-0 slate.

Filipina-Hawaiian Kalei Mau, however, was the one stood out as she tallied 10 points, including nine attacks, while battling out with former teammate Alohi Robins-Hardy, now with HD Spikers.

Cargo Movers head coach Ramil de Jesus admitted that he was surprised that they were able to finish off the HD Spikers in straight sets with the latter coming from a tough loss to Petron Blaze Spikers.

“Maayos lang siguro kundisyon ng mga bata,” said De Jesus. “Hindi namin inasahan ‘tong 3-0 kasi malalim din Cignal tsaka malalaki rin. Galing lang siguro sa talo ‘yung Cignal kaya hindi gaano maganda naipakita nila.”

Rachel Anne Daquis finished with 12 points, while Robins-Hardy scattered three points on top of 15 excellent sets and 11 digs as the HD Spikers suffered its second straight defeat to slid down to 2-2 win-loss slate.

The PSL will head to Natalio Velez Sports Center in Silay City on Thursday with the Cargo Movers facing Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors at 4:15 pm followed by HD Spikers squaring off against Generika-Ayala Lifesavers at 7:00 pm./PN
