ILOILO City – A delivery van fell into a canal in Barangay Libo-o, Dingle, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Its 41-year-old driver Mel James Javelona and two helpers – 43-year-old Joel Apelyido and 46-year-old Ernesto Dador – sustained minor injuries, the report added.
Police said Javelona tried to overtake another van, causing it to fall into the canal around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
The victims were brought to the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan, Iloilo for treatment./PN
