ILOILO City – Eleven persons were arrested for illegal gambling in San Miguel, Iloilo.
Police identified the suspects as Marnell Sanbando, Kevin Cabugason, Edwin Villagas, Julmar Gustilo, Kenneth Buncag, Joben Sabijon, Shawn Sombilon, Kent Salvarico, John Michael Samiana, Mikhael Khali Tadfa, and Jomar Calucab.
The suspects were caught in the act playing tumbo at around 11:40 p.m. on July 8, a police report showed.
Confiscated from their possession was P5,400 bet money.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, or the anti-illegal gambling law./PN
