ILOILO City – A man and his companion were caught stealing a pouch from a security guard at the Iloilo Fishing Port Complex in Barangay Baybay Tanza.
Police identified the suspects as 23-year-old Zaldy Adanza and Jovel Bajon.
Adanza – resident of Barangay North Baluarte, Molo – was arrested around 2:30 a.m. on July 9 while Bajon escaped, a police report showed.
Adanza and Bajon stole the pouch owned by 30-year-old security guard Richell Bandojo, police said.
The pouch which contained P5,000 cash and a make-up was recovered from Adanza, who was then detained in the lockup cell of the Iloilo City Police Station 1.
The police have yet to arrest Bajon as of this writing./PN
