ILOILO City – She was caught soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies.”
Diane Marie Cuarte was nabbed in Barangay Ravina, Sibunag, Guimaras around 11:40 a.m. on July 27, a police report showed.
Confiscated from her possession were P170 bet money and gambling paraphernalia, the report added.
Cuarte was detained in the lockup facility of the Sibunag municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9287, or an act increasing penalties for illegal numbers games./PN
