ILOILO City – This city will host to the seventh qualifying leg for the 43rd National Milo Marathon on Oct. 6.
According to the Iloilo City Sports Development Division, the race has four categories — 21km half marathon (4:30 a.m.), 10km run (5 a.m.), 5km fun run (5:30 a.m.), and 3km fun run (5:35 a.m.).
Entry fee for the 21km half marathon is P1,100 plus fit to run medical certificate; 10 km run at P900, 5km and 3km fun run at P160 for adults and P110 for students.
The country’s biggest and longest-running footrace opened on July 14 in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, followed by July 28 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City, on Aug. 4 at Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Sept. 15 in Lucena City, Sept. 22 in Batangas and Sept. 29 in Cebu City.
The rest of the qualifying races will be in General Santos on Oct. 13, Davao City on Oct. 20 and Cagayan De Oro on Nov. 17.
The national finals will be in Tarlac on Jan. 19, 2020.
Registration for the Iloilo leg is now ongoing at the Iloilo City Sports Development Division, fifth floor of Iloilo City Hall.
