BACOLOD City – A man was shot dead in Barangay Oringao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 36-year-old resident Ramel Aligan sustained a gunshot wound on the chest, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, an unidentified suspect shot Aligan using an unknown firearm on Thursday.
The victim was brought to the Holy Mother of Mercy Hospital in Kabankalan City where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the shooting./PN
