After seven years with VIVA Artists Agency, James Reid has reportedly left the talent management company.
According to a report by tabloid Abante, an insider confirmed that James Reid and his dad both went to VIVA to have him “released” from the agency due to some “sensitive” reasons.
As of writing, VIVA hasn’t released a statement yet about James Reid’s departure from the company.
James Reid rose to fame after becoming part of the Teen Clash Edition of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother back in 2010.
Following his stint at PBB, James Reid signed on to become an artist under ABS-CBN talent management arm Star Magic.
After more than two years with Star Magic, he, later on, decided to transfer to VIVA.
VIVA established James Reid’s career as one of the most bankable actors in the country – especially after getting paired with love team partner Nadine Lustre.
Under VIVA, he did several films including “Diary ng Panget,” “Para sa Hopeless Romantic,” “Never Not Love You,” and “Miss Granny,” among others. (Push)
