BACOLOD City – A man was stabbed to death in Barangay Tuyom, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
The 41-year-old resident Lorenzo Guzon died of stab wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Guzon who was driving his tricycle allegedly rammed a motorcycle driven by 24-year-old resident Ronel Que.
This prompted Que to stab Guzon using a bladed weapon around 6 p.m. on Aug. 22, the report added.
Guzon was brought to the Cauayan District Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
The motive in the incident was not immediately established.
Officers of the Cauayan municipal police station have yet to arrest Que, who fled after the incident./PN
