MANILA – F2 Logistics Cargo Movers captured the 2019 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference crown after a 25-14, 25-16, 25-19 drubbing of the Cignal HD Spikers in Game 2 of the finals at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Filipina-Hawaiian Kalei Mau tallied 19 points on 17 attacks, a block and a service ace on Tuesday.

The Cargo Movers swept the title series, 2-0.

Kim Kianna Dy chipped in 13 markers on nine attacks and four blocks. Kim Fajardo dished out double-double 19 excellent sets and 10 digs.

Dawn Macandili had 20 digs as the Cargo Movers bagged its franchise’s fourth PSL championship.

The Cargo Movers showed its determination not to stretch the series to a decider. It opened the match with a 23-10 first set edge behind the troika of Fajardo, Mau and Mary Joy Baron.

It continued its onslaught in the second set with Mau anchoring the offense. They turned a slim 11-10 advantage to a 23-16 edge to move closer to its first All-Filipino Cup tiara in three years.

F2 Logistics went for the kill in the third frame.  It turned a solitary 12-11 advantage to a commanding 18-11 lead.

The HD Spikers tried to stay alive at 18-23 but Desiree Cheng and Mau scored back-to-back to clinch the championship.

Guimarasnon Jovelyn Gonzaga tallied nine points, Rachel Anne Daquis struggled with six markers, while Alohi Robins-Hardy had 20 excellent sets, 12 digs and seven markers for the runner-up HD Spikers./PN
