Janine Gutierrez is proud that her movie with Benjamin Alves, “Dagsin,” has been shortlisted as a possible pick of the Philippines for the Oscars’ International Feature Film category.
The actress took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a headline from an American entertainment website, talking about the possibility for “Dagsin.”
“Don’t really post articles but this is a proud little moment for our @cinemalaya film to be in the running and to be featured here,” she wrote. “I’m behind whoever gets chosen. Go Philippines!”
