ILOILO City – For illegal possession of firearm, a man was nabbed in Barangay Acuit, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
The 35-year-old resident Albert Montero was caught carrying a .38-caliber revolver with two live bullets around 7:55 p.m. on Sept. 20, a police report showed.
Montero failed to show pertinent documents proving his legal ownership of the weapon, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Barotac Nuevo municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
