ILOILO City – Two men got injured after the truck they were riding crashed into a tree in Barangay Guinagaringan, Passi City, Iloilo.
Tuesday’s clash landed the 32-year-old truck driver Rene Paulino and his helper Julie Ann Toledo at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district. They both sustained bruises on the body.
According to police investigators, Paulino was driving the van bound for Calinog, Iloilo when he lost control and crashed into a tree around 5:45 a.m.
Paulino and Toledo were recuperating as of this writing./PN
