ILOILO City – Four individuals were arrested for illegal fishing in Barangay Unisan, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras, a police report showed.
They were 34-year-old Ernie Villavicencio, 3-year-old Lorenzo Ibara, 36-year-old Rene Boy Flores and 39-year-old Manoy Dado – all residents of Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
They were nabbed on Saturday evening. Their fish catch were seized.
The four were detained in the lockup cell of the Nueva Valencia municipal police station.
Charges were filed against them./PN
