BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a sting operation in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Suspected shabu weighing about seven grams valued at around P105,000 was seized from 25-year-old Frederick James Piedad, a police report showed.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a P4,000 marked money, P220 cash, a cellphone, and drug paraphernalia were also recovered from him around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Silay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
