SANDARA Park had a mini-reunion with two of her co-finalists Joross Gamboa and Raphael Martinez in “Star Circle Quest.”
Sandara, who is now based in Korea celebrated her birthday together with Raphael, Joross and wife Katz, and other friends on Nov. 11. Sandara turned 35 on Nov. 12.
Raphael wrote in the caption of his photo, “Happy birthday @daraxxi mahal ka namin. Bilis ng panahon next naman si kuya @joross_gamboa.”
Sandara was part of the first teen edition of “Star Circle Quest” in 2004, along with Grand Questor Hero Angeles, Roxanne Guinoo, Joross Gamboa, Melissa Ricks, Neri Naig, Michelle Madrigal, Errol Abalayan, Joseph Bitangcol, and Raphael Martinez.
Sandara, Hero, Roxanne, Joross, and Melissa became the five grand finalists called “The Magic Circle of 5.” Sandara and Hero’s love team became popular during the Kapamilya show’s run.
In 2007, Sandara left the Philippines to pursue other endeavors.
In 2009, she became a part of the K-pop girl group 2NE1 and used the name Dara.
She last reunited with her co-finalists in “Star Circle Quest” in 2014, during an episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice” and a separate Christmas party.
Sandara also became one of the judges of the 2016 ABS-CBN reality competition “Pinoy Boyband Superstar.” (Cosmo)
