GUIMARAS – Buenavista National High School, Doctor Catalino G. Nava National High School and Cabalagnan National High School stayed undefeated in the NBTC League Guimaras Qualifying Leg here.
Buenavista National High maintained its hold of the top spot in Bracket A with a 4-0 record following victories over Trinidad V Canja-Sta. Teresa High School, 77-74, and Nueva Valencia National High School, 87-79.
Behind Buenavista in Bracket A standings were Good Shepherds Fold Academy, Simeon J. Jabasa National High School and Trinidad Canja with 2-2 records each, and Nueva Valencia and Philippine College of Business and Accountancy with 1-3 each.
Doctor Catalino G. Nava National High School, meanwhile, is 4-0 in Bracket B after its wins over Agsanayan National High School, 77-61, and East Valencia National High School, 76-61.
Cabalagnan National High School is at second place in the bracket with 3-0 slate after its 85-56 rout on St. Joseph School Hijas de Jesus and Agsanayan National High, 79-52.
Following Catalino and Cabalagnan in the standings were Jordan National High School with 2-1, Agsanayan with 2-2 and East Valencia National High School and St. Joseph School with 0-4 slate each.
The NBTC Guimaras qualifiers was presented by SM, Chooks to Go, Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, Go for Gold, Molten, Vivo, Smart, Cignal, Darlington Exped and Espn 5./PN
