PAUL LEARNING Center, a school for toddlers (nursery, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten) situated at Road 5, Don Julio Village, Brgy. Aganan, Pavia Iloilo, celebrated its annual United Nations Celebration last Oct. 30 at Robinsons Place Pavia Activity Center.
The Students showcased their colorful, vibrant and dazzling National Costumes from all over the world during their Parade of Nations around the mall where mall-goers get to snap pictures and watch as these children waved their flags corresponding to their country/nation with big smiles on their faces accompanied by their proud and happy parents.
After the parade, they got up on stage to sing the iconic Disney Anthem “It’s A Small World After All” followed by the one by one introduction of themselves and the nation they represent.
After which each class level, from nursery, pre-kindergarten to kindergarten displayed their talents in dancing with the aid of their energetic, charismatic and beautiful Advisory Teachers: teacher Michelle Eugelyn Lucente of the nursery class, teacher Eda Marie Espinosa of the pre-kindergarten class and teacher Grace Concepcion of the Kindergarten Class.
Some of the students also highlighted their talents in singing from Classic OPM (Original Pinoy Music) songs such as “Ang Mga Ibon” sung by Klay Winzell Tubongbanua from nursery class, pop-music trends such as “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran sung by Jose Marie Algas of the Nursery Class, “You Are The Reason” by Calum Scott sung by John Maven Sumadic, “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys and “Buwan” by Juan Carlos sung by Katrylle Christella Arroyo and “Peace in Christ” sung by Xhyne Gabrielle Sorrilla from the kindergarten class, trained, guided and developed by their loving and supportive parents with a bit of help from the school’s events and affairs coordinator and music teacher Sir Pepo Concepcion.
At the last part of the program, all the students sang the song of Michael Jackson’s “Heal The World” and 14 K’s “We Are One” then the Winner for “Best Presentation of Nation” was awarded. The winners who won where John Maven Sumadic and Jenin May Figueroa of the kindergarten class.
On Nov. 15, Paul Learning Center also celebrated a post Halloween party where the students came in their favorite superhero and princess outfits.
Paul Learning Center aims to develop not only the minds and academic performance of its students but also the talents, potential, confidence and social skills as well. The school focuses more on molding the students through a traditional-based teaching method aiming to develop the fundamental skills of how to read, write, identify, comprehension, and performance skills with confidence. The learning center also helps children discover, develop and nurture their talents and potential in music such as singing and learning how to play musical instruments such as guitar, drums, piano, and ukulele.
Paul Learn Center believes that through consistent training, development and exposure with the right methods of teaching and socialization skills, each child will have a steady and more stable mindset in his or her early childhood fundamental development.
