Floods kill 4 in France

PARIS – Four people were found dead after massive flooding hit southeastern France since Friday, local authorities said.

One person was found dead near Muy after falling off a rescue boat late on Saturday, the police said.

Another body was found in a car in Cabasse and two people were found dead in Tanneron, the police added.   

A 77-year-old man has been missing since Saturday morning in Saint-Antonin-du-Var.

Interior Minister Christophe Castaner on Sunday met with the victims and rescue workers as rain continued to fall in the region.(Reuters)
