“UNBREAKABLE” star Bea Alonzo was selected by the International Film Festival & Awards Macao and Variety as one of the awardees of “Asian Stars: Up Next.”
According to Variety’s website, this recognition aims to promote Asian actors who they believe possess the skills to “become something much bigger in the entertainment industry.” The award also aims to help the said talents become global superstars.
Bea expressed her gratitude for the recognition on Instagram.
“What a great feeling to be recognized along with the other stars from different Asian countries for their body of work. Thank you @variety for the feature. I am beyond excited to be able to represent the Philippines in Macau this coming December,” she wrote.
Bea was awarded alongside Asian stars like Ryota Katayose of Japan, Praewa Suthamphong of Thailand, Lim Yoon-A of South Korea, among others. (Push)
