BACOLOD City – A voice instructor was shot to death in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 49-year-old resident Melvin Arnel Borja died of gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Borja was on his way home riding a tricycle when one of the unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects peppered him with bullets around 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Borja was rushed to the Talisay City Health Office where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Talisay City police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the incident./PN
