BACOLOD City – Teams from Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts dominated the U-15 and U-13 categories of Bacolod City age-group girls volleyball at the Montalbo’s Covered Court here.
In the U-15 category, the Bacolod Tay Tung High School-B led by Alex Montoro and Jothea Ramos became one of the two semifinalists from Bracket A on Saturday aside from Talisay A team.
Bacolod Tay Tung High School-A, led by Katherine Shaine Cortez, Nicolei Galvan and Sophie Cagalawan, topped the Bracket B aside from the WVRAA Meet-bound Negros elementary girls volleyball squad.
In the U-13 category, Bacolod Tay Tung High School’s A, B and C squads along with Talisay entered the semifinals round following their strong showings in the elimination round.
The semifinals and championship matches for both U-15 and U-13 categories are being held as of presstime on Sunday afternoon.
