ILOILO City – Police caught three persons engaging in an illegal cockfight in Barangay Lopez Jaena Norte, La Paz district.
They were identified as Jun Magno, Kim Magno and Medy Hilado of Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district.
However, their alleged cohorts Eugene Lanado and a certain “Edison” managed to flee.
Police confiscated six game fowls from them on Dec. 29.
The suspects were detained in the La Paz police station’s custodial facility, facing charges./PN
