RUFFA Gutierrez is glad to be seen on television again, landing a role on a newest teleserye called “Love Thy Woman.”
“I’m going to be the third kabit,” Ruffa shared, referring to her role on the show as one of the mistresses of veteran actor Christopher de Leon.
She is part of a big ensemble, which includes ZsaZsa Padilla, Kim Chiu and Sunshine Cruz. Yam Concepcion is also part of the cast after taking the role that was previously Erich Gonzales’.
“I just don’t know when we’re going to shoot, dahil maraming pinagdaanan ‘yun, you know that Erich resigned. They finished re-shooting the scenes na na-shoot na ni Erich, and now it’s being done by Yam Concepcion,” the former beauty queen added.
While she is looking forward to her role in the teleserye, being a mistress is definitely not something she ever sees herself in real life.
“Ako yung tipong pinapakasalan, hindi ‘yung kinakabit lang,” she declared.
Ruffa was married to Yilmaz Bektas and has two children with him, Lorin and Venice. Although they eventually parted ways, Ruffa doesn’t see any reason to settle for anything less than marriage in the future. For now, she’s in no rush to do so.
The actress is in a relationship with longtime boyfriend Jordan Mouyal, a French-Israeli businessman, and was last seen at the Halloween party hosted by her brother Raymond in November.
“It’s actually not in my priorities. Some of my friends from Bible study are even praying that I get married again. I said, you know what, I’ve been married before. I’m not in a hurry to get married again. I definitely don’t want to grow old alone, but right now, I’m surrounded by love all around,” she stated. (Push)
