BACOLOD City – A man was stabbed to death in Barangay Lopez Jaena, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The 47-year-old Michael Arca of Barangay Sta. Rosa, Murcia died of stab wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as 65-year-old Renato Ilon of Barangay Sta. Rosa.
According to police investigators, Arca was riding a motorcycle when Ilon stabbed him using a bladed weapon around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Arca was rushed to the Murcia Municipal Health Office where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
The motive in the incident was not immediately established.
