BACOLOD City – An alleged operator of a drug den and five individuals were arrested in a sting operation in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Authorities identified the alleged drug den maintainer as Mora Allera, who was tagged as a “high-value” target.
Aside from Allera, five alleged visitors to the drug den were also caught during the operation on Jan. 12. They were Andrue James Capio; Maricar Allera; Roy Mendoza; Elvira Egonia and Lolito Abayata.
During the raid, operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental, PDEA Regional Special Enforcement Team and PDEA-Antique were able to confiscate suspected shabu weighing about 10 grams valued at around P68,000.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the San Carlos City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. (PDEA Region 6/PN)
