MANILA – Local carrier Cebu Pacific said operations were “back to normal” on Tuesday, after three days of cancellations due to the eruption of Taal volcano.

The airline cleaned all of its jets that were coated by Taal’s ash and aimed to rebook or refund passengers of canceled flights in a day or two, said spokesperson Charo Logarta-Lagamon.

Ililipad po natin sila. We just have to, kumbaga, hanapan sila ng espasyo,” she said in a radio interview.

Taal in Batangas province spewed a giant ash column on Sunday, with the debris reaching as far as Metro Manila. The Ninoy Aquino International Airport did not open until noon Monday. (ABS-CBN News)
