CAPIZ – Hercor College Junior Jaguars remained invincible after two games in the Chooks-to-Go SM National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Tournament-Capiz leg in Capiz Gymnasium.
The Junior Jaguars began their campaign with a sweet 79-55 victory over Filamer Christian University, followed by a 90-76 outscoring showcase against Saint Mary’s Academy of Capiz.
Before Saint Mary’s Academy’s loss to Hercor College, they cruised to a 69-58 triump versus College of Saint John-Roxas in the opening day of the basketball cage wars.
College of Saint John-Roxas were able to bounce back in the second day when it wrecked Capiz State University, 93-52.
Don Ynocencion also devastated Capiz State University with their second loss, 80-57, but they bowed to Filamer Christian University, 89-64.
Capiz-leg commissioner Michael John Abad said that the matches of the tournament will be played every Saturday and Sunday. Championship round will be slated in the first week of Feb./PN
