ILOILO City – Charged with grave oral defamation, a couple was nabbed in Barangay 8, San Miguel, Iloilo.
Police identified them as Jefferson Barinos, 34, and his wife Mary Grace, 36, residents of Barangay Sto. Nino, San Miguel, Iloilo.
Their apprehension on Jan. 15 was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant, police said.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the San Miguel police station.
The court recommended an P18,000 bail bond each for their temporary liberty./PN
