ILOILO City – A game-winning triple by Miguel Sasuman kept On D’ Move Sportswear alive in the Mayor Jerry P. Treñas Basketball Tournament semifinals on Friday at the Jaro Gymnasium.
The buzzer-beating beyond the arc conversion made the No.3 seed On D’ Move repel No.2 ranked Uniwheels, 87-84, in the overtime period.
Sasuman, a standout of the Central Philippine University Golden Lions, finished the match with 27 points, while Estoy Lencioco chipped in 27 markers for ODM Sportswear.
The ODM victory forced a do-or-die semifinals matchup showdown with the twice-to-beat incentive bearing Uniwheels, which was last night.
