BACOLOD City – Four sachets of suspected shabu were seized in a sting operation in Barangay 9, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 30-year-old Joven Sata and 42-year-old Jonald Vidal yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Police officers staged the entrapment operation which led to the arrest of Sata and Vidal around 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
Aside from suspected shabu, a cellphone and drug paraphernalia were also recovered from them, police said.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Kabankalan City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
