ILOILO City – Ilonggo guard Ralph Bajon’s dream of playing behind the bright lights of Manila is set to be realized. He has committed to play for the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals in the NCAA men’s seniors basketball.
Generals head coach Oliver Bunyi confirmed to Panay News the commitment of the Santa Clarita International School Primes guard who is set to join the EAC in time for NCAA Season 95 campaign later this year.
“I saw the way he played sa NBTC national finals last year sa Manila and I am glad he decided to join the Generals,” said Bunyi.
Bajon, for his part, said he was thankful to be given another chance to play in Manila via the Generals. He dreams of playing the professional league such as the PBA and Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League soon.
“I promise na hindi ko sasayangin ang pagkakataon na ito,” Bajon said. “Pagbubutihan ko talaga ang laro ko sa EAC and also will do my best to help them win games in the NCAA.”
Bajon will be one of the several former Primes players currently playing in Manila aside from John Bryan Sajonia and Mark Jimenez of Far Eastern University and Franc Steven Tono of Letran Squires./PN
