ROXAS City – Five sachets of suspected shabu valued around P600,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cagay here, according to Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles, Roxas City PNP Spokesperson.
The 43-year-old Alfred Jaguio and 34-year-old Feb Almia yielded the suspected illegal drugs, Arcangeles told Panay News.
They were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P20,000 around 5 p.m. on Feb. 7, he said.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a unit of cellphone and a wallet were recovered, he added. Their motorcycle was impounded too.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Western Visayas said Jaguio was included in the Directorate for Intelligence list, while Almia was a drug surenderee.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Roxas City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
