ILOILO City – A member of a local band was killed in a road crash in Barangay Tabucan, Mandurriao district.
Tyrant band vocalist Chelsea Alba Espinosa died of head injuries, police said.
Espinosa was a resident of Roxas City but temporarily resides in Montecillo Subdivision, Pavia, Iloilo.
According to police investigation, Espinosa was on her way to Mandurriao district when her driven car crashed into a wall of Mohler Building around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 10.
She was rushed to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district where the attending declared her “dead on arrival.”
Initial reports showed Espinosa may have fallen asleep on the wheel before the accident./PN
