BACOLOD City – A drunken woman believed to have drowned was found dead in a fishpond in Barangay Baviera, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
She was 78-year-old resident Lydia Magbato, police said.
Magbato’s lifeless body was discovered around 6 a.m. on Feb. 26, police added.
According to police investigators, she was last seen having a drinking session with her relatives around 2 p.m. on Feb. 26.
Officers of the Sagay City police station ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
