BACOLOD City – The motorcycle they were riding crashed against a tree in Barangay Montilla, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The 34-year-old driver Roberto Tecson of Barangay San Jose, Sipalay City died, while his back rider Romulo Sagmon, 26, of the same village sustained injuries on the head and body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Tecson and Sagmon were believed to be intoxicated when the incident happened around 11:50 p.m. on Feb. 29.
The victims were rushed to the Sipalay City Infirmary where the attending physician declared Tecson as “dead on arrival.”/PN
